big question??? Loved all the information I have learned about raw vegan. HOWEVER, as gung ho as i am… I am tired when i do not have protein… what does everyone do…. drink protein shakes every day??? H.P.

Hey there H.P.,  I drink shakes every day that include greens and a raw meal replacement powder called Complete.  It is made by Juice Plus and has the powder from fruits vegetables, kelp, wheat grass, spirulina etc.  I include in my smoothie greens (like kale) and fruit.  I drink it in the morning and often in the afternoon when my energy gets low.  It is usually a question of not consuming enough calories, carbohydrates and micro nutrients that causes your energy lulls, not protein.  Hope that helps.
